However, having been a Ford/Jaguar man up to now I need some advice on servicing so I have the following questions;

F. F10 hello Discussion starter. 2 posts · Joined 2021. #1 · Nov 26, 2021. I have a f10 520d. Recently i have noticed when the engine is cold i can feel juddering in the cabin but only when in D. Start up is fine but as soon as i put it in D it shakes quite bad. This goes away after 15 to 20 mins when the engine warms up.
Mileage is superb for the performance: real-world, after 38k km, is around 8l/100 km; normal highway speed (ca 150kmh) is around 6 l/100 kmh, drops to 4l/100km with 90kmh. Those are the numbers from the on-board computer. Hope that helps.
Wybór 520d można traktować jako zgniły kompromis z którego nie jestem w 100% zadowolony. Zresztą jak już wspominałem cena 520i jest w/g mnie żle skalkulowana bo w 3 różnica pomiędzy 2.0i a 2.0d wyności 10000zl , a w 5 już tylko 4000zl jak by wynosiła tyle co w 3 brał bym 520i bez cienia wątpliwości. I periodically check my battery voltage and when I normally run my car, the voltage was around 14.4v to 14.7v all the time. But now for some reason, now, it's always at around 13.3v to 13.9v. Even when I run/accelerate the car, its only at 13.3v. Before when I would accelerate on my car, the voltage would go up.
Some people don't realize how to work that dual-control lever between tilting the seat front vs. raising the whole seat. Press the rear edge of that control up to raise the seat. Pressing the front edge of the control tilts the seat bottom. BMW-CCA. Bimmerfest Supporting Member.

Hi, Im having the same issue, suddenly abs and dsc appears and after switch off its gone, i got it done the inspection from two expertise they recommended to replace the DSC, and it cannot be replaced, First you try to pressure bleed the brake fluid, it may work, mine it didnt work. now im going to order the DSC.

Recently the EML has come on and after checking it with both ISTA and Bimmer Link diagnostics i get the following 2 codes: 24CF00 and 290B00 which are linked to air mass. I have removed the MAF sensor and cleaned it, reset

Only engine difference I can find are: 520d Engine - BMW straight four-cylinder diesel engine with exhaust turbocharger. 525d Engine - BMW TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder diesel engine.
